Using Windows Remote Assistance

Modified on Mon, Sep 27, 2021 at 9:16 AM

Are you interested in using a tool to help you help other employees remotely?  Windows Remote Assistance (WRA) is one of the tools used by our Service Desk to remote into other employees' computers and virtually look over their shoulder.  You can also take control of the mouse and keyboard to provide more hands-on support.

Note: You must first be granted Remote Assistance permissions by IT to use WRA.  Please consult your manager who can request this access for you if you do not already have this capability.

See attached PDF for detailed instructions on how to use WRA.

The second PDF attached will walk you through how to create a shortcut to WRA on your desktop.  IT can also provide a shortcut if needed.
