See below two settings to check that commonly need to be changed when your computer audio is not functioning in Microsoft Teams:
Click on the three dots icon in the top right corner of Teams --> Settings --> Devices, then make sure your default audio device (i.e. “Headset” if you use one) is selected as the default device for Speaker and Microphone. After that, you can click “Make a test call” to give it a try before joining a meeting.
Also, go to the Start menu in the bottom left corner --> search for and click on “Microphone privacy settings.” You may need to switch this setting “On.”
