Occasionally, a customer or third party may send you a document in .pages file format. To open/view this file, follow the steps below.
1. Right click on the .pages file, and click “Save As…” (assuming that it is an e-mail attachment)
2. Click “Desktop” on the left, then click the “Save as type” dropdown, and click “All Files”
3. Append “.zip” to the end of the filename, and click “Save”
4. Double click on the document you just saved on your desktop. The icon should look like this:
5. In the list of files, double click the “Preview.pdf” file. This is the document that was sent. (It may be stored as a different file format, like JPEG, and may be stored within a "QuickLook" subfolder.)
