To clean your Trism printer with the long cleaning card, you will need to contact the IT Service Desk to initiate the cleaning. The following steps are required before the cleaning process can be initiated.
1. Remove all Card, Film, and Laminate cartridges and close all covers.
2. Remove the paper backing from both sides of the Cleaning Card.
NOTE : DO NOT remove left liner if a magnetic encoding module is installed.
3. Insert the Cleaning Card into the Card Hopper's infeed rollers.
Once the above steps have been completed, inform the IT Service Desk agent working with you so they can initiate the cleaning operation on the Trism server.
You may need to help guide the cleaning card into the printer once the cleaning is initiated.
Service Desk info:
On the Trism server, launch Fargo Workbench as an administrator. Select the branch from the dropdown list, then go to Printer Information in the top ribbon. On the left, go to the Clean Printer section, then click Begin Cleaning Printer when the branch is ready.
