Cleartouch Portal Exception

Modified on Tue, May 4, 2021 at 2:50 PM

Solution:

The above error message indicates that another user is already logged in to Cleartouch on the computer. That user will have to sign off of Cleartouch in order for another person to be able to use it. Cleartouch only allows one session to be open at a time per computer.

Alternatively, rebooting the computer will force all users off, allowing you to access Cleartouch when it completes the reboot.

This portal exception usually indicates that you are logged on to the computer with a temporary profile.  Please submit a Service Desk ticket to resolve the issue.

Service Desk:

In Registry Editor, navigate to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList and delete any profiles that end with .bak.  Then, have the user log off and back on to the computer.
