Ending a VPN Connection on the Firewall

Modified on Tue, Sep 1, 2020 at 3:34 PM

Occasionally, when troubleshooting a VPN issue or at the direction of a manager or HR for an employee on leave, you may need to kill a specific user's VPN connection on the firewall.

1. Log into Palo Alto

2. Choose the specific firewall (drop-down in the top-left corner)

3. Navigate to the Network tab --> GlobalProtect --> Gateways --> Remote Users

4. Click the red icon under Logout to end a user's active VPN connection.
